Government Update:

Our Vice President Marcus Suridius has stepped down since CelticTiger211's resuming of the Presidential Office. He has also released a new cabinet which I will be posting below:

This is the message from CelticTiger211 on his new cabinet

"Minister of Defence: Marcus Suridius
Marcus has a work rate nobody in this country can match. He opinionated, which is what you need in a Minister, strong willed and determined. He’s heavily experience in our domestic military from both a soldier and officer’s perspective.
Role: As well as administrating orders for our armed forces Marcus will oversee the establishment of the Irish Army and work collectively with EDEN to ensure our soldiers are fighting where it counts!

Minister of Foreign Affairs: Irishbhoy1967
The man is a genius. Easily the smartest and most internationally renown citizen Ireland has ever produced. He is responsible for our nation’s fortuned relationship with Croatia as well as our strong ties with Canada. During a time when the friendships of the global alliances are crumbling and deteriorating, we need strong, respected representation, Irishbhoy provides that.
Role: Ensuring communications with our dearest allies are maintained. The possibility of opening talks for potential regional trades or rental agreements with our neighbors. Being a general badass.

Minister of State: Dan Murchadh
A veteran to eIreland, Dan has served Ireland over the course of his lifetime. He’s knowledgeable, sincere and friendly, traits I noticed when he took me under his wing when I first joined. Dan knows the community well and runs on his own standard of absolute professionalism, I’m grateful he’s on my team.
Role: Overseeing the New Welcoming Message, Public Fundraiser for the Army & the Promotion of State projects.

Minister of Finance: Dubhtaigh

Economic Advisor: Kavrocks

State Treasurer: Kolshire

Intelligent and compulsive, Dubhtaigh is an eager mind always exploring alternatives and venturing to see if there’s another way. He’s a realistic always shooting for the facts. Along side him is Kavrocks a mathematical God, who has agreed to act as a financial adviser to the state, with Kolshire coming in as the State Treasurer.
Role: Monitoring the Irish exchange rate and keep money supply at a rate agreed on, governing the finances of the Irish Army and her founding, overseeing the Irish tax system."

We have now engaged in the landswap with Canada. They will be renting Shannon from us on a monthly basis and will serve as a defense barrier against an attack from the UK.

Sure thing mate, the deposits will consist of 40g a month, paid on the 4th into the New Ireland Bank.
