ARMY UNITS NAMES PROPOSALS

For our 2 army units I propose the following two names
"Evzones Battalion" from our Evzones soldiers
"1st MAK Unit" from the speacial commando unit Ζ΄ ΜΑΚ

Others ideas?

I was thinking this.

Hellenic soldier milita- for our normal soldiers

Mobile elite soldiers:
Blue Army (Galazia Stratia?)

White Army (Astria Stratia?)

Low-level players in Greece:
Myrmidones

Spartans or some variation thereof have to fit in somewhere, it is Greece after all

Hell, on a serious note why not name different squads after the original members of the League of Corinth? Which as I just remembered didn't actually include Sparta so I'm wrong there.

No now for real this time I like Carpathia's suggestion. It will be kinda splitting hairs as for who is what for a while until we get more citizens but in the end it will be a well organized way to do it and doing it like this now won't really be any hindrance I wouldn't think. Anyone notice I'm on the forums more now? Anyone enjoying my return?

how about we call our sodiers army: Hoplite army
and our elites army: Epilektois elite guard

Hoplites was the name of normal soldiers in Greece and Epliektois were the Argive elites or chosen ones who were trained to the same status as the Spartans.

I'd like names that have nothing to do with religions. Also it would be better to chose names that have nothing to do with places (e.g. Sparta, Macedonia etc).
I’d prefer neutral names and I liked some of the ideas given before. For example:
Colours: Blue, White army/force (Γαλάζια/Λευκή)
Metals: Golden, Silver
Letters: Alpha, Epsilon, Omega .. . (Greek name letters)

But most of all I liked the description of Hoplite and Epilectoe armies/guards.

I think that the names Makoulian presented above are just perfect.
