Advertising Erepublik

Following the latest humiliating defeat of ours we need to look into advertising the game. Some quick research shows that Facebook is the 2nd most popular website in Greece.

I looked into advertising on Facebook and I'm still not clear how it works. I know though that you can set a budget of spending per day (say around 10USD/EUR) and then you can pick a "pay per click" feature which means every time someone clicks on your add you will get charged the amount you specify for click (it ranges from 0.10USD-0.20USDper click)So for example if someone clicks on the add 100 times and you bid 0.10 USD per click then you will get charged the 10 dollars and nothing more. Now I'm not sure what happens if people click more times the ad (maybe the ad doesnt show up after you exceed your budget).

If you guys think it's worth it maybe we can try it for a few days. We can create a paypal account where people can donate just a few dollars/euro and see how it goes from there.

Also the AD would be specific to Greece and according to Facebook there are 1.5 million Greeks on Facebook.

What do you guys think?

Also you could create and eGreece "fan club" on facebook, which I think is free.
